Turn up the music
In 2013, German researchers found that when music has “high-groove” qualities, the brain gets excited and naturally induces movement in the listener.
“Basically, your playlist has the ability to boost your energy levels, no matter how sluggish you are feeling,” says Dr. Mosquera. “And if you sing along, research has shown you’ll experience an emotional high while it reduces levels of stress hormones.”
