As the government works to recover from a health care vote derailment, it’s important to remember that patients continue to struggle with health challenges every day.

For many, confusion and chaos often rule the day when it comes to getting medical care in this country.

The public understanding of Obamacare, or the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (ACA), was that it would bring much-needed health care coverage that was both affordable and accessible to all communities throughout the country.

Unfortunately, it failed to broadly promote the noble purpose of its first two and most important words: patient protection.
